Globe telecom was established with a focus on Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Power, Process and Marine (PPM) and Systems Integration. Its solutions are geared towards helping its clients speed up their decision making process and data analysis to improve business operations and increase profitability. The company has a 20% share of the GIS market, 40% share of the PPM market and 10 % share of the ERP market.
In 2011 Globe Telecom launched Egypt’s first GIS navigational website: DMISR.com, which was then executed as an iphone application on iTunes.
